Working directly with the client I wrote, storyboarded, edited and animated these 4 digital ads for Hay Optimizer, each focusing on different selling points for the premium hay storage product.
Process:
These videos began with a meeting with the client to discuss their goals for the video and the deliverables required. They told me they wanted 4 unique videos displaying the product using pre-shot footage they could provide and advertising the various selling features that they also provided me with. From this initial conversation and after reviewing the footage they provided and the key features of their product I created 4 short scripts, 3 of which focused on what I felt were the strongest features of the product and the last script was geared towards a promotional offer they had to get $100 off a purchase. These scripts were reviewed by the client and I refined them based on their notes and got the final approval to start production.

Each video would be using the same small amount of footage but needed to appear as a unique piece. I tackled this challenge first by focusing in on a specific topic in the script writing phase, and then by formatting each video with a different text treatment and animations during production. The footage had to be colour corrected, cropped and in some cases sped up or slowed down to fit the 4 videos. I also created a custom logo reveal of the OptiMizer brand that bookends each video to tie them together.
